Half Londoner, half country girl, I came to wine by accident through a summer job in a vineyard when I was 19. 

Fast-forward nine years and a career spanning heavy lifting at the IWC, wine PR, wine retail and marketing; I left my job as a senior copywriter for Majestic Wine to chance my hand as a freelance copywriter and content marketer. 

I now write about wine in my column for timatkin.com and develop content for a variety of drinks brands. I also blog about wine, cocktails, other booze and food and do cocktail and food recipe development for a select few brands and publications.

I'm also a WSET Diploma student, qualified graduate of Leiths School of Food and Wine and believe world peace is infinitely achievable with the right food and wine pairing.
